First off, the ad makes my skin crawl in oh so many ways. I do not understand how creepy little rubber monsters kissing your feet sells shoes. Also, said shoe is called Patricia, which I think says it all.
Second, Screw you Real Simple. Not only did you accept this advertisement, but you included a tutorial on how to make planters out of the most hideous shoe on the planet. I may cancel my subscription.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go wash my eyes out with bleach.
